Basic Life Support (CPR)

3 Hours Practical Training Certificate of Attendance

Would you know what to do if the worst should happen?

CPR aka the kiss of life, mouth to mouth or basic life support, is an emergency lifesaving procedure that is performed when someone is unconscious and not breathing.

CPR combines rescue breaths (mouth to mouth) and chest compressions.

This session takes place over three hours and includes the necessary theory followed by lots of practical "hands-on" practice to build confidence. Attendees range from parents, school staff and other first aiders through to dentists, nurses and other healthcare professionals. This session can be adapted to suit a variety of needs, from the complete novice to those who are skilled but feel their resuscitation skills need updating. The session is in line with the current Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines.
