Employment documentation such as employment contracts, policies and procedures are the fundamentals of transparent working relationships and having the correct paperwork in place is the foundation of good people management. They contain lots of information and should be legally compliant whilst at the same time being easy to understand both for you and your employees. For employment documentation to work, it needs to be tailored to your business. For example, the rules, procedures and terms which work for a business such as a care home for the elderly will be different from a marketing firm. Therefore, we will spend time understanding your business and what matters to you to capture within your employment documentation.
We will work with you no matter where you are up to with setting up your employment contracts. All documentation we provide will be bespoke to your business and designed in an easy to understand jargon-free language which will work for both you and your members of staff.
You already have employment contracts
We can review these for you to ensure that they are up to date and legally compliant.
You don’t yet have employment contracts
We will work with you to put these in place as soon as possible.
You plan to recruit staff
Policies & Procedures
All businesses which employ staff should have as a minimum a Disciplinary and Grievance Policy and Procedure. In the case of any employee dispute, where these are absent, an Employment Tribunal would rely on the Statutory Disciplinary and Grievance Policy and Procedure, written by ACAS. However, this may not be the best approach for your businesses as all businesses operate differently and have different rules and standards of employment. We ensure that all Policies and Procedures developed for your business are written with your business in mind, considering any customs or rules you have and the standards of behaviour and work required. Again, these will all be worded simply and jargon-free.
