Emergency Paediatric First Aid

6 Hours Practical Training Certificate of Attendance




This course has been designed specifically for those who are working as part of a team within Early Years who could help and assist the fully qualified First Aiders in a medical emergency. This course will also provide parents/ grandparents and nannies with lots of knowledge and practical skills to increase their confidence when looking after their precious little ones.

This course should be upgraded to the two-day full Paediatric First Aid at Work or the blended option for childminders or anyone working alone on the Compulsory Ofsted Register where the full syllabus will be trained, and all learners will receive a comprehensive training manual.

Who should attend

This is a great asset to those at the start of their career within Early Years, those looking to refresh their existing knowledge and hold a valid certificate or anyone who has or looks after children occasionally and is looking to broaden their skillset, increase their confidence and put this into practice in a safe environment. Excellent for Soft Play Centre staff and children’s entertainers.

Course outline

Delivered by one of our Qualified First Aid trainers guiding you through all the practical life-saving techniques. Designed to be interactive, engaging, fun and memorable.

Course duration

This course takes place over 6 hours and will include both theory and practical elements.

Assessment & Certification

To ensure all learners are reached, we use a variety of training methods including scenario-based training techniques which maximises recall. Through continual assessment, each delegate will receive a certificate of attendance.
